Varsity first official day of fall football practice is

Monday August 3rd 2026

Helmets and cleats only -  Varsity will practice once daily

Mon-Sat from 6:00-8:30am at IRHS

This is the required heat acclimatization period during which players gradually become accustomed to playing in full pads during the heat of the summer.  Days 1-3 (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) are helmets only.  Thursday shoulder pads are added.  Attendance in Mandatory!

First practice in full pads is Monday, August 10th 2026 from 6-8:00am at IRHS. Only players that have completed the required acclimatization period (6 practices) may participate in full pads.
